@theking00 Yes. I had that since when I was a kid (5~7 years old). I didn't know exactly what I meant by "I" and it was very scary!

@theking00 Do a bit of mindfulness meditation like vipassana and surrender to being to relax.

That's what I do.

The dying part is mostly the overdramatization created by ego.

Its about facing that irrational fear over and over again until one ceases imagining oneself as a form.

@Rilles are you sure you can stomach the realizations that will come after death?  Be ready :)

I imagine ego death to be some sort of weird void but that cant be it because whatever i imagine is not it... but my ego refuses to hear that, it thinks im gonna trip out or something

@theking00 It's all part of the process unfolding perfectly. Dualistically speaking the ego-self acts as a gate keeper that keeps one from entering the realm of the higher self.  Self inquiry has bought you to this gate. But the ego self must remain in the realm of the relative to pass through.

Question is:  Are you willing to leave the ego behind for greater Truth?

"Noble wines shall not be tasted by drunkards"  Drunkard = the ego/self.

These kinds of thoughts are exactly what need to be deeply scrutinized, challenged and seen through. Or else they will keep bothering you down the line.

From the perspective of the ego, it is frightening, but is not that what it was created for? If You would know that there exists unimaginable bliss and joy, where would You go?

Death is imaginary.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

Death is imaginary but the imagination is real.

Explain in detail what you feel. How do you know you are about to die?
