Marianne Williamson on conscious politics

She's famous for the quote - "our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate but that we are powerful beyond measure"

She is good. Too good to win.

Oh the irony of life!

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

She is astounding! This would not just bring more equality on all levels, this would be the beginning of a spiritually unified world rooted in love and oneness.

Especially her comments at the end of how we are one surprised me for someone who could be introduced to a global audience.

Also, 49% of America not voting? This need to change.

Thanks for sharing.

Feel your hearts embrace of this moment of existence, and your love will awaken in everything you perceive ❤️

Too many platitudes in this interview. Saying that you want a more ethical society or more conscious government sounds good, but it's like...what does that mean? Everyone can consider their own views "conscious". Using spiritual terminology is not a qualification for a political position imo.

Then I found this which is about her policy-ideas:  https://www.marianne2020.com/issues

Definitely agree with some of her visions like putting more emphasis for healing trauma, but she seems like any other statist; "give me all your money and do what I tell you to do because I am an authority about what's right and what's wrong". To me she's way too moralistic and authoritarian; wanting to regulate seemingly everything.

Also, several of her positions like on race and the economy I cannot support. Her positions might me highly conscious, but seem also a bit philosophically weak

She can talk nice about love and in this part I can agree with her. But she never talks about where the "loving" money should come from. She only talks about where the state can spend it everywhere. She has no idea of economics and social science.
That's how all Progressives are today. They know exactly how to use the tax dollars and which "loving" intentions belong into our various state constitutions and with which sleek speeches one can seduce the ordinary man. But on the side of income and debt they are merciless robbers. They create a huge administrative machine, which they do not see themselves as the cause of, but they complain about. With their incentives they completely confuse the economy, creating lobbies and large corporations, and then capitalism is said to have been to blame for everything.

This has little to do with consciousness.

The first act of love would be to allow people to help themselves, i.e. to get out of state dependence.

She's also so ignorant. She simply claims that the police department, the fire department, the public schools and the health care system are all socialist institutions that should be preserved under capitalism. That is why she is not a socialist. LOL. None of this is absolute. Not even historically.
There is nothing more to be said about the defence of CO2 climate protection targets. That is the level of consciousness purple, whereby evil magical ghosts haunt the earth.

@Leo Gura

I am also very impressed by how she conducted herself in this interview and am excited to watch her perspective represented on the debating stage. She is clearly displaying a deep understanding of the institutional, economic and foreign policy dysfunctions and is laying out a great policy vision for political transformation on many issues, with an undeniable systemic intelligence to implement it. However i do want to point out as freedom of the press, journalism and speech in general is a high priority for me that her take on the Julian assange situation and some other blind spots deeply concern me.

9:20 Backing away from medicare for all and opts for a more moderate plan, but to me there is no half measure on healthcare.

21:40 Sharing her views on the Julien assange wikileaks situation which made me have to pass on her and stick with candidates like Bernie and Tulsi Gabbard.

One of the upsides of Bernie is that he has 40 years of government/politics experience. A lot of newer Democrats in this primary have some good ideas, but they are just inexperienced with how Washington really works. That's important to take into account. That's one of Yang's downsides for example. Same with Williamson. I worry such people might be somewhat naive about the whole thing.

I would like to see a special law passed which seriously protects and even actively encourages whistler-blowers to come forward. It's gross how whistler-blowers are attacked for revealing deep truths. That's pure devilry. Whistler-blowers must be celebrated as heroes.

But Bernie will never win.  You gotta be able to actually effect a change in Political Work as an aspect of Personal/Interpersonal Development Work.

We gotta design sure-fire, sustainable systems that make actual change, even if it's just one tiny thing.
