I'm a big fan of taking what works, (from whatever stage) and discarding what doesn't (from whatever stage)

The hardest part is finding out what does and doesn't work haha this is where people debate for days on end.

@Shadowraix and I would say even if something did work, do those people wish to live that way and under such policies they would not agree with, regardless of their efficacy.

@RichardY @Revolutionary Think  would these people be the considered the first "Whiggers"

(drum break)

The term probably has links to Liberia which tried to emulate whiggism, as a country for freed Afro-American slaves or copied the name for their political party.

Never heard of Whiggism before.

They were a small political faction, considered antithetical to royal authority. William Daniel Defoe (Moll Flanders, Robinson Crusoe) was a member, I think they also had a good number of historians and original authors. Now gone, although Toryism(Literally meaning Banditry, or the modern Conservative Party) exists, for now.

Wrong Defoe. Platoon one.

@Leo Gura You are right I know we need corporations ... They could be yellow or green but most of the time they are orange and the ones who stole the word libertarianism from us were orange devilry like Monsanto ... And corporations like Monsanto are pure devilry  and exploitative monsters destroying the planet ... Corporations evolve in their level of development and consciousness...well maybe but it is VERY slow, does a corporation like Monsanto really evolved in any better ways since 1945? I am not sure ...

Again, it's not so simple.

Notice you are demonizing Orange.

What's missing in your assessment is a lack of compassion for ignorance, which is what devilry is. And also, in your demonization you fail to see the good and love of Monsanto. The people working in that company have families to feed. And their products help feed half the world with cheap food. Without Monsanto many millions of people would starve because crops would be more expensive to grow.

The rule is this: anything you think is bad and evil is actually good and necessary when seen from a higher elevation.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

I tell you what, I am hopeful that @Leo Gura will present some Conscious Politics policies in his last video. That would be interesting to see. I believe he mentioned he would? Either way, that would be a PRACTICAL step to get those ideas out in the public, especially IF they are new and not left vs right partisan ideas.

Yes, I will put forth many practical policies in Part 4.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

@Leo Gura  I remember your Marketing video being a bit of a revelation for me on how society works. I think it's quite on topic with conscious politics and a bit underrated, so you might also want to mention it somewhere :)

@Leo Gura First of all. Thank you for making me care more about politics.

I appreciate the viewpoint of seeing politics/government as a tool to "increase the love for the largest amount of people".

Now I just wonder what I can do. It seems like just voting is not quite enough.

@Revolutionary Think  There was a system called "pronoia." instituted in the Eastern Roman Empire as opposed to Feudalism. Also the opposite of paranoia.

@Revolutionary Think Similar to the ancient Chinese tradition of paying a doctor before you get ill, or to keep you healthy.

So grants could be revoked for refusal or inability to do service to the state. As opposed to raising a feudal levy. The more efficient system, given the arid nature of Anatolia's sparse settlements, numerical and physical prowess of nomad warriors. Local superiority, being a major advantage. Plus not wanting to be raped and murdered by invading tribals.

@Leo Gura, how would you go about incorporating "conscious politics" so that humanity may avoid global disaster and mass extinction due to climate change (see current scientific consensus, e.g., https://www.ipcc.ch/reports/) and what would your specific "conscious politics" be on infrastructure, energy, population regulation, etc.?

@Revolutionary Think haha cool video I like it thanks!

well yes I think we actually agree about American libertarians ... From what you say, and your video ( that said lobbyists launched the word libertarianism in U.S just after WW2) then I guess they did not want libertarianism to spread in U.S they considered it to be a big threat to their agendas because I am very sure Monsanto/these lobbyists knew very well about European libertarianism ... It was very popular in Europe before WW2, and the best alternative between capitalism and communism ... It was sort of like socialism in some aspects but without the authoritarian aspect. They want/wanted to achieve the perfect balance between collectivism and individualism, the perfect balance between freedom and equality, they knew very well that freedom with no economic regulation whatsoever would lead to freedom of the wealthy and enslavement of the poors or would lead to horrendous conditions of living for most of humanity, they want/wanted people to be educated enough to be citizens and try direct/ pure or variations of direct/pure democracy, they wanted a government with layers of hierarchy but controlled by the citizens(many different ways to achieve this)/ they want people to vote their laws a bit like in Switzerland but even better ...For three years Spanish people (between 2 and 8 millions participated)have experienced it, it was really great even George Orwell wrote about it but it ended with the beginning of WW2 ... Good old capitalism was not that bad in those times/  better than nazism at least so when war ended the economic elites/ plutocrats capitalists came back economy was good because of the end of the war and nobody complained...Economic elites knew how to brainwash about communism / socialism it was easy because of the failures  and authoritarianism in the countries where they were in practice ... It was more complex to brainwash about libertarianism because their core values were freedom autonomy and equality and the few experiences (like in Catalonia) were pretty good ( and very threatening for predators and devilry lobbyists like Monsanto ) so I guess that they knew it was not known yet in the US and launched the word libertarianism hijiacking it emphasizing only about the freedom with no explanation whatsoever of anything no knowledge about basic economy how a government works no political history nothing no plans except freedom for all ...And you are definitely so true about it if you follow American libertarians logic, it is going to end in freedom for a few wealthy, their slaves and maybe some crazy survivalists all dying before 40 because of their infected wounds they stitched themselves without taking any antibiotics ...Libertarians in Europe understand that ... But the problem is that American libertarianism is kind of infecting us back, since the word is the same and many European libertarians do not know themselves very well the roots of the movement, they kind of think this is only about freedom and survivalism of the fittest ... This is really bad and what can we do if your deluded libertarians show us the way and we all end up very confused about the meaning of all these concepts ... Noam Chomsky knows about lobbyists devilry hijacking words and concepts and supports European libertarianism he explains it perfectly he is one of the smartest altruistic conscious intellectual still living in the world beautiful example of a green / yellow person ...

@Emeline exactly complete freedom is nothing more than the freedom for the elite wealthy and land owners to exploit and subjugate the rest of humanity with no restrictions. I think if we instituted a Guaranteed Income (in this country it's going to be called a freedom dividend) it'll give some bargaining power to the lower and middle classes so the ultra rich can't exploit and subjugate like they're doing now.

A good idea would be for European Libertarians to directly fight the corrupted bastardized American version by educating people about the economic justice side of it. There would be less misunderstanding and at the same time it'll inoculate the infected hijacked version of it that the rich greedy devils are weaponizing against the poor and needy.

@Revolutionary Think I know about UBI and I have heard about Andrew Yang definitely think UBI/Freedom is a great idea ... In France as well some think about implementing it, great theorist economist and sociologist Bernard Friot thought about « lifelong salary », unfortunately the video is long and in French but there are English subtitles...

That would be a great idea ... But people do not understand economy and do not even want to.They find that too boring ... And they are not completely wrong haha but at the same time if you do not have a basic understanding of how economy works you cannot understand politics ...
