"nothing ever happened" ??

like a dream at night... it never happeneed... but it also did?

Imagine for a moment a "something" that is all "somethings".  Its hard for most minds because, generally the mind see's in cause and effect (chicken then the egg), this or that, right wrong, true/false.  Then some minds can see in a creator that creates all other things like a snap of a finger, this universe is created.  But its subtler, odder then this and Im not going to claim to understand it all, but stick with me for a moment longer to express this oddness.  This something which is not a solid/energy/thing is ALL, so right away everything is included, now whats odd is the mind may go oh, so its a  something, then from there it creates the next thing which may be a atom, and then thats the building block to the next thing and then next (cause and effect) which is apparent to our senses, however its also not happening since happenings require starts and ends, and its happening prior to time since its always the case (never having been started or ending), but again its both happening in and out of time and linearity.  Its in or "as" what we call creation/material and also "out" having created/the substance that allows for creation AND its all of it, including you and your story and beliefs and everyone elses, its you right now. 

I like the metaphor or image of a octopus or better yet the T-1000 from terminator.  Imagine what god is is like what a octopus or what the T-1000 does, at any moment can morph almost its entireness into anything else, but now expand this to include every system, law, reason, how to, possibility, sense, perception, material, EVERYTHING.  In a blink of an eye everything that is everything we would call visible and invisible to us, all universes and current workings of how things work, could just morph into "newness" new galaxies, new life forms, new laws of how things work and the systems they include.  This would be what god is/does/works.

So coming back to your original question, did "nothing ever happened".........?  Mu, quack, isn't the sky beautiful......

thanks for taking me on that ride with them words. 

in my experience, the understanding keeps deepening... even at intellectual level and each more than the last

the same thing gets redeinfed further in depth and it seems like this is quite deep and then the next time it is shown/understood deeper still

and this is without any mushrooms/lsd/dmt or a supernatural experience even... barring 1 experinece where all labels/meaning dropped - but was still in the room.

 

i dont think all of that is required. no fireworks so to speak. just a very deep peace of mind and silence would mean the seeking has ended.

 

and yes. what you are trying to show there with words i get that quite deeply.. like a hologram constaly morphing and changing.. an infinte block of consiouness cube extending in all directions/dimensions and constantly "changing" and being 1 state to the next but ofcourse the whole already being itself eternally and entirely

@SoonHei It's only 'happening' from the ego perspective. But the ego is an illusion itself.

Like in a video game, the happenings are just the appearings to the observer (the screen), while both are just one and the same.

Ya, I like the holograph metaphor you shared, just like that.  And yes deepening is always the case, its never ending   glad the words could bring you deeper.

what you are saying i believe is to illustrate and cancel out what happening implies... which means it is taking place in year 2019.. and in time...

and that isn't the case

this is outside of time and place... it is in the NOW... right the next moment .. what appears before me can shift and i can be in year 40,000 BC.. (won't just happen out of the blue - but that is what a hologram means) as it is said... there is no real life/waking.. there is only dreaming... eternal dreaming/knowing . 

 

@Mu_ yes. words can be powerful when understood - i feel we discount the words too easily sometimes... then again, words are only as powerful as the one who is hearing them and their ability and level of awareness to grasp what is being said

i.e.    teaching e=mc^2 and quantam mechanics to a bunch of grade 2 kids is just words/sounds

 

same for spirtualiaty/non-duality

must have tasted the nector once to know what is meant by said words.

We can only imagine Infinity.  Thats as close as our finite minds can get.

It is pure potential - every possiblity that can ever possibly be, which of course includes the possiblity of no possibilty.   All is happening and not happening simultaneously.   And Infinity has nowhere to go but itself.    Thus possibilities and the absence of them happen right on top of each other - there is no where to go.  Non-existence is happening right now
