Problems with meditation

3 posts in this topic

For roughly a few years I've meditated daily for an hour on a comfy cusion.

Her are some problems I'm facing with the practice:

  1. I'm experiencing discomfort/pain on my right side of my upper back
  2. I'm feeling pain in my right hip.
  3. I'm experiencing obsessive thoughts from sex to weird thoughts about space and time.
  4. Sometimes more stress in my daily life.

I'm holding on to my vision of being a great meditator on a tropical beach. I'm not sure what to make of these problems. Any advice is appreciated regarding these problems. Thanks.

The Mind Illuminated is a great book about meditation which will help you with precise instructions about such problems in meditation
