Tiredness while self-inquiry

3 posts in this topic

I often get extremely tired when I do self-inquiry to the point I just fall asleep until my alarm goes off. Do you have any recommendations for that? The problem is not just falling asleep, but even when I stay awake, I have difficulties to focus.

PS: Usally I'm not sleepy or tired outside my self-inquiry practice.

Could be an ego defense mechanism as a reaction to self-Inquiry.

Try to do first thing after you wake up. Then it should become easier to shift the times around once you get comfortable practicing self-Inquiry.

It's a common defense mechanism, especially at first.

Do inquiry after a good rest/nap, when you are max alert. Don't do inquiry at the end of the day when you are dead tired. Inquiry must be done at the peak of your day, not as an after-thought.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.
