GOD = REALITY

I am posting this, because I am seeing a lot of people who doesn't like the word GOD and think in the GOD that is up there on a cloud watching us, separated from us.

GOD is the same as saying REALITY

@abrakamowse yeah good to put that out there.   i use the term "he" a lot but i don't mean a bearded guy in the sky.  It's just a metaphor.

Can't really capture God with words.

@Inliytened1  Exactly! Some people I think become too attached to words and project all their ideas so when you say GOD they label you a religious or someone who is not talking about the truth. Like if using that word automatically makes you a bible thumper or whatever they might think.

I had an epiphany that it was crazy and it happened out of nowhere. I was going to work, not doing meditation, nothing... totally out of anything religious. That made me go to Christian Churches, then I realized that something wasn't quite right.

And now I am here. Leo helped me to focus on REALITY. Then I realized that was the same as idea as what GOD is in reality, not what the Church says.

Long story, someday I will post it on my personal diary here in the forum.

This begs forth a serious issue.

Could it be that the so called 'specialists' of any field is in fact the most deluded about the reality of that field?

Its like they've hardened themselves so much into their positions like a cocoon that there is no possibility to change, grow or learn something new on the level of paradigm shifts

I think that is the case.

It recalls me of Jesus, when he came all the experts where the pharisees and they were the ones that wanted him dead. Crazy...

And most of the prophets and people who were more enlightened were from outside of the "Church" like Elijah, he couldn't even enter at the Temple, because they didn't allow him to do that. John the Baptist also baptized in a lake far away and he lived in the desert.

Thanks for sharing your God beliefs. What I like about this place is that people are willing to share their beliefs and keep an open mind about what beliefs others may have that are different to their own belief.

I guess that's one of the key ingredients in self actualisation? To keep and open mind?
