There is no difference between life and afterlife.

18 posts in this topic

When I die, my consciousness is supposed to haunt another body. I can say that we have a shared soul.

If that's true, then there is no difference between life and afterlife because I'm already living an afterlife.

I just don't have memory of my previous lives.

Oh my god, I'm already a ghost living an afterlife!

Another duality collapsed.

Will there be an afterlife after death? Yes, you are living one.

The spiritual realm and the material realm are one and the same, too, because we are already spirits.

The sad truth is that I used to think the material realm as the ultimate meat grinder for every biological creature. Now, the spiritual realm and the material realm are one and the same. There is no escape from the grand meat grinder. Hail the grand meat grinder. Hail the grand eraser.

"A ghost" is more punchy to the ego. It's flavor.

That makes sense. I've had the same realisation once. I'm just confused about those who say you need more than one lifetime to get to a certain level, because that would mean my soul would stay the same which makes no sense. How do you stay the same or take with you the knowledge you gathered in this life time?

The consciousness is indestructible. The memory is not. Think about amnesia. The soul is the consciousness.

@CreamCat we're certainly living afterlives. and we're also the "beforelives" of...

what i'm inviting you to contemplate is: are you the afterlife of an individuality?

You may have to develop advanced technologies or techniques to do so.

The concept of heaven is quite flawed.

Are women in heaven? Would be boring without.
Can they reject you? Is it still heaven then?

Can they get pregnant? Can the baby, piss and shit over what ever ground or house your standing in?

I don't understand. What do you mean by an individuality?

According to Leo, the universe is already heaven to God.

To devils, the universe is a hell and a meat grinder where they can die.

I can think of myself as an afterlife of an individual. Non-duality includes duality. I can make distinctions.

Maybe, afterlife and beforelife are one and the same, too.

who/what was the first human the afterlife of?

in other words: who was the past incarnation of the first human being?

Maybe, there was no first.

I know, but where does this notion come from of having a higher self that is seperate from your higher self and just moves to another body to experience another life and evolve, yet it's the same self. Sounds like ego not wanting to die. In another topic Leo said to a guy that he will need 10 life times to get to the same level as sadhguru, that is what i don't get?

I think leo meant you need to live 10 times the average lifespan of a person to reach the same level as sadhguru.

If a person's average lifespan is 100 years, you should live 1000 years without dying to reach the level of sadhguru.

If you forget everything, living 10 lives may not be enough. That would mean 10% of the population reach the level of sadhguru. 1 out of 10 people. You would have to go through a million or a billion cycles of life and death to reach the level of sadhguru.

As brilliant as Leo is, and again in the scheme of things, from the big picture perspective, he and you are actually identical, so be wary not to put him or anyone else on a pedestal, he still grows spirituality like the rest of us.

I think earlier on he was more condescending than he is now.  That is something i have noticed he has worked on and grown into.  He never had bad intentions of course.

Becoming fully conscious of Oneness will also bring Absolute Love for all.  And humility.

And keep in mind the Oneness, the highest of perspectives, because you are God and you are infinitely brilliant.

I haven't collapsed that duality, yet.
