What is energy? What is the relationship between energy and consciousness?

My armchair philosopher answer is: Energy is information in motion. And consciousness is a state of being aware as a self. Interestingly, there is a fairly mainstream theory about consciousness related to information called the Integrated Information Theory:

This can even explain out-of-body experiences (OBEs) I think, because when the vacuum energy in space is structured in such way as the Integrated Information Theory states then our consciousness can exist outside the body!

energy is moved around and delivers information, with intent, to the consciousness. The consciousness needs to be aware enough to understand both the internal impact but also the impact on the world around.
