What is understanding?

@Truth Addict I'll try to come up with what concerns me. 

As @Serotoninluv said there are different forms of understanding. 

I think you are trying to say the same thing differently. Pardon me if I interpret what you said wrongly. 

I am interested in... let's say I say: I understand God, or I understand reality, or I understand consciousness, or I understand what I really want. What does it really mean? How can we check that? It looks like it's intuitive form of undestanding... I don't know.

@dimitri Understanding is the recognition of you, of your essential self (though appearing as form). You are infinite, and super duper limited yourself to experience finite. There’s no “other thing”. So when you know yourself more, from the finite perspective, we call it understanding. Similar to the recognition of self in form as love, beauty, sacrifice, selflessness, etc.
