how do I stop sabotaging myself?

I have final exams in two weeks. I know I should study. I want to do good. However I often find myself wasting time. How do I stop this self-sabotaging?

Stop all other activities, no matter how seducing or important they might seem, you might even think that you will get answers by staying here on the forum, but guess what, if you're smart enough then you will immediately shut down the internet and go study right away.

There are no answers, no tricks, stop wasting your time and go do the fucking work.

For the sake of two weeks you should go and find the following place:

1. Somewhere quiet.

2. Somewhere free of distractions.

3. Somewhere nobody can find you.

And you should have a daily routine. Find the time of day when you're most alert and do the study/work then. Take regular short breaks during the study/work period.

DON'T drink alcohol at all during the two weeks. DO get plenty of sleep. DON'T study if you feel tired, it's pointless.

Party hard AFTER your finals.

In a word: DISCIPLINE.

Good luck!

Make the intent firm and non negotiable to pass the exam.

Once this spirit is set, nothing will stop you. Nothing.

Until this spirit is set, anything has possibility to stop you.

This is infrastructure for success.
