Tips for coming of an addiction?

Currently trying to improve the sources of happiness in my life and I'm finding it especially hard to stop masturbating. So I'm welcoming any tips!

Set a goal to not do it for one week then one month then two months etc.

Try to avoid getting into situations where you usually do it

Be around people as much as possible

Stay busy doing other things

Dont look up girls on the internet just for fun, if you do youre already screwed

Stay mindful

If you're in your 20s, I don't recommend even trying to stop masturbation.

I think it's better to have a girlfriend, but if you don't have and don't want to, then I don't think it's wise to fight against your nature.

Sexual desire is like hunger, they cannot be compared to other addictions, although they can certainly become addictions if you try suppress them.

And actually, if you lean into them moderately without feeling guilty about them, they can be the best source for happiness.

Well I'm 18, nearly 19, and yeah I'd definitely agree with the urge to go bust a nut is such a strong thing. I want a relationship, but looking for one online to go meet in person often ends up in me getting turned on by people's profiles.
