@tedens For me, the devil is in the details mostly. Spiral Dynamics big 5 or any other model explains differences quite well. Even using only a rational discourse big pictures are fine. I was very curious about how world events impacted the change, since this is one of the goals of terrorism, for example, to scare the public and disturb political conversation and cause a conservative stance, because of fear induced. 

I think history and world events are key to understand political discourses, yet it's twisted with so many characters. It's not easy to keep up with that. In that sense, I find the big picture more enjoyable relateable. It's not only deep but is broad and applicable.

@ValiantSalvatore Thanks.  Yeah there is not a lot on Coral out there.

Basically with socialism and capitalism it comes down to more government control and equality for all..or less government control and more opportunity for the entrepreneur to become a billionaire and then the billionaires own almost all the wealth in the country and the middle class gets screwed along with the poor.

That's why i think yellow and turquoise is more to the left because it is looking out for the collective whole assuming the government is a high evolved government and has the collective whole's best interests in mind.

Thats why the rich orange folks are so right wing.  Rich yellow and turquoise go back to the left because they are more conscious now..but the irony is they gained their wealth by being Orange (most not all).

So if Coral swings back to the right what would we have...a sorta hybrid of the two...systems thinking here we go!

@Inliytened1 The point about coral is it would be third tier, so it would be another giant leap. 

I know there are different spectrums I took a test a while ago which helped to clear my political stance since we do not have a bicameral system in Germany. It's a cool test a lot of people that I know complain about America and are confused that they do not have a liberal party. So, potentially this expands the whole viewpoint. https://www.politicalcompass.org/test.

Yellow would be more lenient about his or hers choice of a party imo, since they want something that works. So, there would not be a rigid structure to staying within the influence and reach of one specific party. As a voter. So, it could potentially be more left or even more conservative depending on the situation at hand and information at disposal. 

Turquoise would be more spiritual tackling macro problems with macro management for a common good, yet that is not possible IMO without a unified globe, that is as bad as Donald Trump jumping out of the transatlantic protocol, in a predominately orange world in the west and advanced east. (Call me racist) Not sure if he left the nato?

Coral is third tier, from what I've read. So, no idea in the book from don beck it says things are addressed on a planetary level. So, there is no left and right, really more a whole that needs to be addressed.  See the political compass and it's four quadrants.

What's the point in being loyal to a cause or a group that is not going to reciprocate loyalty? Maybe, a small tribe or your family might care about you.

@ValiantSalvatore Really good stuff.  Thanks.  Yeah it will be interesting to see how things play out over the next few decades.  Hopefully we can evolve.  I live in Chicago, IL and i have to say whether left or right Trump is a complete moron.

But we still gotta remember that he is us.  It's just God exploring itself and learning from it's own mistakes.

@CreamCat i agree with you.  But what about the folks that can't pave their own way?  Just let them suffer in poverty? That's where the higher stages come in.  We as egos want to think about ourselves.  I'm totally with you.  But as we evolve we have to try and be conscious of others while at the same not negatively impact ourselves.  Welcome to the dilemma right? That's what i meant when i said i still have shades of Orange in me although enlightenment kinda propels part of you into Turquoise.

I'm worried that any stage might do things worse than letting the poor suffer in poverty when people are stupid.

People tend to get dumb and dumber when they try to extract up-front agreements. Decisions made by up-front agreements are often stupid although synchronicity is good for exchanging a large volume of information in a short amount of time at conferences.

Wisdom of crowd often comes from asynchronous cooperation happening over time and space. Think about wikipedia which is a manifestation of asynchronous cooperation. Asynchronous cooperation cannot happen if people are not independent.

Asynchronous decision making is superior to synchronous decisions making. Mainstream politics will tend to lag behind asynchronous organizations.

I can improve my world by removing as much of up-front agreements as possible. More people should be able to take action now and seek forgiveness later.

Up-front agreement = making uninformed decisions without trials and errors

Seeking forgiveness later = more freedom for trials and errors

According to wikipedia, donald trump seems to have added billions on top of his daddy's money.
