DMT visuals: can someone who's done it confirm?

I've never done it, but I like to do lots of research on the subject so I might be able to give a somewhat coherent answer to your question.

Taking DMT won't look like what you see in the video. There should not be this much darkness, everything should really colourful and hyper-saturated. Everything in your field of vision is moving constantly. There's also the geometry aspect of it that I think was left out in the video you posted.

There also cognitive effect involved with what you're seeing. Some users report being able to see perceive inner workings of consciousness through a sort of non-verbal communication with geometric structures appearing in their environment.
