That's the deepest you can go. You can't get beyond the absolute. To me, that should've been permanent. Yet, you kept going on retreats doing 5meo multiple times. Why? What's up with this? My guess is, it's not permanent for you. If you actually had a Satori/Kensho, the term Riding the Ox Backwards should have been profoundly meaningful for you.

The concept of multiple awakenings in an effort to find "permanent" awakening doesn't exist.  I.e. permanent awakening doesn't exist.  Once you have a non-dual experience you are Awakened.

Along these lines, the idea of “permanent” is along the horizontal timeline. It’s a construct. There is also the awareness of the vertical line Now - which is free of time and notions of permanence within a construct of time. 

I think this is similar to what you wrote, with different wording. I think it’s an important point. My sense is about 99% of people’s attention is immersed within the horizontal timeline.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. You also got to be careful of traps before and after enlightenment. Sometimes, you just have to live your life in mindfulness meditation.
