The rational mind must be exhausted and tortured to the point it gives up, because you must be able to see that you really don't know. This state of not knowing and seeing what is right infront of you with an absolute WTF am I looking at has lead me to so many breakthroughs.

Actually that is not what you said in your first post. To treat something badly then expecting it to give you what you want is either irrational or abusive

This is sort of like when you type out the same word so many times that it stops having any meaning.

Looking at something stunningly beautiful also shuts the mind off. Lots of seemingly positive, negative and neutral things can lead us to a state of no mind.
