Should I Make More of an Effort With My Family?

Okay so I don't mean my, family, like parents and siblings, I mean like aunties, aunt's, cousins whatever

 

I'm conflicted so I just want some extra perspective on this, I don't see my family, I only visit grandparents which I have good relationships with, I just never see my aunts, uncle's cousins whatever, they haven't made contact with my family for ages other than Christmas and birthday cards, and my mum sometimes speaks to my one of my aunties. I'm more interested in seeing my cousins as I haven't seen then since 2015, and I do like them, but is it even worth making that effort when it's not also made by them at all?

@kindayellow There’s no right or wrong, whatever you want is whatever you want. I have over 30 cousins on one side of the family. Some hang out regularly, some (me too) at holidays, some live out of state and rarely come to town for the holidays even. It’s up to you. ?
