Do you project your own low self-esteem onto others?

12 posts in this topic

When you think you are inferior to others, it feels that others think you are a lesser form of life. It is a projection.

Others may or may not think you are lesser than they are.

Low self-esteem is an illusion constructed by the mind and is a prison you can break out of by recognizing the illusion.

You are a super computer. You can do surprisingly a lot if you don't waste your time on bullshits and illusions.

You are so intelligent that you can convince yourself that you are stupid.

Bearing with the conditioned in gentleness, fording the river with resolution, not neglecting what is distant, not regarding one's companions; thus one may manage to walk in the middle. H11L2

You know exactly what to say to piss people off without getting banned.
You strike a very delicate balance between stupidity and naivety with the occasional spark of brilliance.
Frankly, I find it difficult to believe that it is accidental.

I appreciate your art.

That was not my intention. My intention was to be genuine. Leo Gura and a few others also pissed me off by being genuine.

Authenticity pisses people off. To be authentic is to not feign good manner for acceptance and survival(e.g., not getting banned).

If I wanted to get banned, I would behave differently than I do now.

Leo Gura designed this forum so that people can be genuine here. I'm following through his design.

Why would I want to strike a balance between stupidity and naivety? I'm trying to move away from both.

Perhaps, I am actually stupid and naive. A man cannot become wise until he explores all his stupid options. Perhaps, I look stupid because I don't try to hide my stupidity. To be genuine is to not hide stupidity from others.

I'm not the one who is intelligent. Universal intelligence guides me. An ant is not intelligent. Intelligence is in the design of an ant and an ant colony. In this case, Leo Gura's design guided my behaviors to some degree. You are looking at a human following through the flow of an intelligent design.

Also, I thought you were saying how a human is so intelligent that it can convince it is stupid or how god is so intelligent that it can convince it is stupid.

Hey, don't defend yourself like that. I really admire you. I wouldn't be able to make a thread like that, even if I tried to.
The fact that it comes naturally to you makes me envious. You're a genius.

I am talking about that. I wrote that to back what you were saying in the OP. It was spot on.
Low self-esteem, or low intelligence are a web of beliefs that we pick up from environment.
The fact that we're trying to shake free from them is how they are true.
We're wasting energy to fight something that's not there.

This forum? Not very encouraging. I haven't been working on my life purpose for a while. I miss my life purpose.

Give yourself some time. You seem to be pursuing wisdom, that's a good ground upon which you build your life purpose.
You're not wiser than yourself. If you don't know what you should do, then it is best to admit that and learn in the meantime.

I've fortunately am able to be aware of when my self esteem goes down. I feel like I am lesser but that doesn't quite translate to I think other people actually think I am lesser.
