Need help for first psychedelic experience

Hello everyone. Hope you're all doing well.
I have taken a huge leap of faith and have bought LSD and am ready to use it to move forward towards the place that you don't feel the need to more forward.

Now a little background on me: I have pretty much ZERO experience on psychedelics. I never smoked until last year and then I smoked weed twice, and a cigarette once just so I'm a little bit familiar with a shift in state of consciousness, or just smoke inside of me. But that doesn't really ever get you up to the challenge of using psychedelics. I appreciate any help/tip that could help me have a safe experience and learn from it.

The substance is LSD
The dealer gave me some tips like "don't touch the substance it'll ruin it" but i don't know how to get it to my mouth safely (yeah i'm that ignorant in this matter)
he said don't keep it in warm places but does that mean i can't keep it in my pocket till i get back home?
and finally smth he said that boggles me: he said use a little bit of opium to get yourself down from the high. But opium is not a psychedelic and i DO NOT want to use drugs. Do you have any advice to give on how the trip goes and how i can get down from the high safely as well?

Stay the fuck away from opium, you don't need any drugs to to come down from LSD, especially opium or any other opioid. 

You can carry it in your pocket it will be fine. Just don't store it somewhere hot - or sunny - keep it in the cool dark.

When you eat it, try to handle the tab by it's edges and pop it in your mouth. If it's really bitter, it might be fake acid, you should spit it out ("if it's bitter it's a spitter"). It should be tasteless, or possibly slightly metallic and sour tasting (some people can taste LSD, some can't).

You might want to get the acid tested if you're concerned with the veracity of the LSD.

USE A TEST KIT AND TEST IF THE LSD IS REAL!!! I don't know about you but I am certainly not gonna trust some guy who told me to take opium to get down from the trip. Store it in tinfoil far away from light. Do it in a place that you have control over, so your own home. Do it when you are in a good mood, psychedelics will greatly enhance all emotions. Also do you know anyone that has experience with psychedelics that can be there for you when you take it?  Smoking weed and cigarettes are nothing compared to LSD.

i have one friend who has used it before but i don't think he'd be available. another friend of mine actually volunteered to help! but he doesn't have any previous experience; neither in tripping nor trip sitting. So it'd be hard for him to help. but i think it'd be better than nothing since i have no idea what's to come it's better to have someone you trust be there to provide support

It all really depends on the type of person he is I suppose. Maybe get your friend to watch some videos or read about trip-sitting? Basically he should think of you like a child he is watching over, let you play and be, but don't let you do anything dangerous.

Actually, if you're not sure about the efficacy of your substance, it is best to swallow the tab, especially for a first time. (Since you don't have an accurate judge of bitterness, since some ink blotter can be a little bitter even if laid with LSD-25). If it's bitter, that means it's NBOMe, and will not take effect if swallowed. If it's real LSD, then it will work just fine, no drop in potency. So no risk at all if you swallow the tab. 

Handle the tab at the edges, pop it in your mouth and drink down with water. 1 tab only for your first time!

@TheAvatarState it seems to me to be up for debate if the NBOMes are orally active. I recall there were a few reports on bluelight where someone experimented with this and claimed to get effects from carefully swallowing it - and even encapsulated in gel caps. Personally, I wouldn't risk it and would just spit it right out if it tasted strongly bitter. You're right though that there is some danger in misinterpreting the taste of ink on the blotter even if it's real LSD. 

I guess the right answer here is that you should test your tabs with a proper kit.

the right answer is that this shouldn't have been a question in the first place. 

But here we are, humans, always in less than ideal conditions. If you're set on having a psychedelic experience, it's safe (relatively, this is largely known that NBOMe break down in the stomach, but if there are discrepancies, you definitely want to consider those. this is your body.) anywhere you are to immediately swallow the tab. And NEVER do more than one tab of something you haven't tested or sourced yourself. 

NBOMe are still relatively safe at low doses, that's why they are used as a substitute. The NBOMe is only lethal at high doses.

Maybe he meant some Kratom or something. 

I've used Kratom red come down stimulant psychs and it's pretty good to take the edge off and get out that "brain fried" sense after tripping lol

But anyway what is a dealer giving this kind of advice to the customers lol

so i got the lsd. i cut a tiny bit of it to both test if it works on super little doses, and also to taste it. it doesn't taste bitter. it takes almost nothing, but maybe a bit sour, like @outlandish said so.
i had a problem cutting it tho. need a sharper thing to cut it with.
it's been a while. the tiny bit is still not dissolved, also no impact. hmm
also one thing. it doesnt matter if you put it on or under your tongue right? the point is for it to dissolve in your tongue?

@Javad I've always put the blotter between my gums and my lip, above my teeth along the side. It would be about the same on or under your tongue, but it's out of the way tucked on your gums. The logic is that it should go into your bloodstream faster this way, but a lot of people say it doesn't really matter and you can just swallow it. But it's my tradition and I stick to it. It takes a very long time to dissolve because it's thick paper, eventually you can just swallow if you get sick of it.

The taste is a good sign. 

If it's just a small corner it's norma that you won't feel any effects, especially if you've never done it, you won't know what to look for and it will be hard to pinpoint the effect. How did it go?

well that tiny bit didnt have any effect. Im about to do my first trip either tomorrow or the day after. will write the report in the trip report thread as well
