The End Of The Non-duality Fundamentalism

8 posts in this topic

@jcgiusto  A story about the limitations of so called teachers or newly `enlightened` ones...

It illustrates beautifully the misconceptions there can be regarding `enlightenment`, `truth` and `non-dualism`.

The guy is sharing his personal insights and his personal journey and beliefs, meanwhile `acting` all the time as the teacher.

A good lesson for everyone considering who is a true teacher.

@jcgiusto yes I do like his teachings. He talks about the impact of the realization on the person. The Jeffness that is.

Not many teachers and gurus talk about that.

It is all just thoughts. Everything. If they work for you keep them (whatever that means), if they dont, discard them (however that means). As simple as that. Advaita Vedanta works for you, keep it. If it doesnt discard it.Same with anything else. Anything and everything is thought.Use it however you want and say whatever you like, it will always be your thoughts and illusions because they will always be contradictory to someone else thoughts and illusions and there is no judge to decide who is right or wrong. Nobody will ever be right or wrong. Things simply are the way they are no matter how many names you invent for them.

Guy in the video is as right now as he ever was. Thinking or/and speaking differently then back when he wanted to be enlightened but his thoughts are no better than the ones he had back then. He is trying to create his own thing based on his past delusions, twisting and adding to what he tried to learn back then, still wanting to feel special. That is his trip and is as valid as anyone else trip.
