Andrea you are that God you are Jesus.

God Is everything that you see. It lives all lives including your own.

I am God talking to you. I AM YOU. Not that voice inside your head.

If you were right, then I would agree with you.  But you are not.  And inferring in your last sentence that I'm mentally ill is unacceptable, and proves to me how inadequate your are.

@ZeroInfinity I am "new age" now... Now @Soul-lover 2020 confuses "new age" with seeing what is true. Only through direct experience you will began to be awaken. Not through the dogma of the church, that you believe without questioning.

There's a lot of Christians that know that, like St John of the Cross, Meister Eckhart and others, but they are banned from the Church, even they considered them heretics. I was also an evangelical Christian, and let me tell you that Luther brought more devil than good to the church.

It's too long to explain here, but for trying to find the truth on something written thousands years ago, and on top of that being interpreted differently for thousands of different "Churches of Christ" is crazy.

Happy searching for you too Andrea!

@Soul-lover 2020 You seem awfully sure that you are right and that you can never be wrong. There are hundreds upon hundreds of interpretations of the Bible. How do you know that yours is the correct one? You're just a man. What is Man? Worthless. Stupid. Worms crawling upon the ground. We have no ability to discern for ourselves absolute truth.

But when we realize that we are one with God, we can start to see Truth. When you realize that every individual that has ever lived is one with God and that you are one with them, you start to see that we are all connected. You start to realize the truths of what Jesus said when he claimed that what we do to the least of those who don't even know his name, we do that to him.

You have continuously stated your belief system as fact. I'll be honest; I don't disagree with a lot of what you're saying as my personal belief system either. However, I have zero right to force my belief system on anyone else. Instead, I find it far more enlightening to encourage others to share their beliefs and find out where I am wrong.

Because I assure you 100%: you are wrong in some of your beliefs. So am I. So is Leo and everyone else here. No one is perfect.

Clinging to your personal belief system as the only truth is the epitome of ego. In fact, that might be the very definition of ego. Release your ego, and allow yourself to be wrong. Realize that everything you believe... EVERYTHING... could be a lie. Then pick up the pieces afterward and put them back together to find the truth. Refusing to take that first step means you will wallow in ignorance and ego until the end of your days.

Do you really think you are the sole mouthpiece of God? Do you really think your beliefs contain all that is God?

The first step on a spiritual journey is to realize that everything you know to be true could be false.
The final step is the same.

Abrakamowse,

My spiritual awakening began in 1986 when the Lord Jesus Christ saved me.

The problem with the Christian church is that it has compromised biblical truths with the so-called "prosperity gospel", and false New Age "truths" that distort what God wants to say to us through His written Word.

Heresies are rife in the Western church.  I've often questioned what is taught, and I shall continue to do so shamelessly.  I look to God and not to man - or woman for that matter.

I hope that one day you'll see the true light, and turn away from the satanic, Luciferian "light" that is shining on you.

'Bye for now.

Andrea

I know what I know, and I'm open to correction about the rest - provided that what I'm being told makes sense to me.

You are not making sense, you are repeating what the "Churches" taught you and what is mainstream. Think for yourself if what the doctrine that is taught in mainstream churches is Ok. Don't be afraid to challenge the authorities in the church. Like Jesus challenged the authorities in the synagogues and the pharisees.

The first part of your statement is your ego speaking. Until you realize you know nothing, you will never grasp Knowledge or the Truth. The Truth isn't always something that you can dissect and make sense from. Our minds are too small to understand it all. That's where faith comes in. If you want to prove your faith is strong enough, really truly let go of everything you have been taught and start over. If you have faith, you'll find your way back to the Truth. But you have to let go in order to get there. Clinging onto your baggage is weighing you down.

I already think for myself, thank you.  I've been on a steep learning curve with fellow soul-lovers for the past 16 years.  It's not easy, especially considering that much of the western Christian church is in a right mess due to extra-biblical, i.e. unbiblical "doctrines" of demons.  So much of it is worldly, legalistic, and performance driven.  My friends, including my late wife reached that conclusion.

There are things I know, and things I don't know.  I don't need you to tell me anything contrary to that.  Neither men, nor women, easily impress me.  I'm largely an outsider, refusing to conform to what the leaders of the mindless herds of both believers and unbelievers want me to believe.  Surrounding oneself with 'teachers' who tell one only that which one wants to hear is a trap.

:)

Ok... What you and your wife realized is very good. Church is all that and much more. They have become demon lovers, not Christ lovers. That's true.

But let me tell you something. There's unbiblical stuff of course. But not in the way that you are imagining. The problem is that they don't follow the Bible because they don't understand. They interpret what is told in the Bible wrong.

Did you listen to Alan Watts? He was a Episcopal priest. Then he studied theology. And finally Zen. He has a lot of wisdom. But you need to be open to understand that what he says is very biblical. The actual interpretation by any Christian Church is distorted by the Ego/Devil

I think you are here for a reason Andrea. Search very deeply inside you for the answer.

Perhaps.  But I know the answer isn't of me, but God.

Realist + Jesus = Christian with attitude!  I'm a born-again non-conformist, meaning I'm no Pharisee.
