my teachings would go something along the lines of, 

"shhhhhh, be quiet ... see that , hear that .... shhhhhh, right there" that that is only 50% of the journey 

the other 50 is "silence"

I think you are missing the point, mind is also silence. You are still separating and judging. You should take everything as yourself.

@Aakash If you ask a buddhist, they will say there is no self identity that exists. If you ask a yogi, they will say the ego identity is false but the individuated spirit/atman is self evident if you just look.

I think they are both true on different levels.
