Kabalarian Philosophy

This philosophy claims that names have a lot to do with your success and fulfilment in life. I'm a newbie and was reading this and this is the first place i thought of that would discuss the topic. Thoughts? Opinions? Does it work? I'm a serious sceptic of all things. Even posting something here is hard for me. Anyway...here goes nothing.

@Kizro Jones I can understand that from a psychological/sociological perspective, for example, you have people in the UK such as Katie Hopkins who judges children by their names because she doesn't want her kids to hang around someone called 'Tiffany' for example, because she pictures such a child to have parents she finds disagreeable
Of course, most people probably do this subconsciously, without realising, for example employers who see a particular name on a CV

From a philosophical perspective though, I don't understand, is it about fate?

Yes, in one aspect, it is about fate. But they claim that there are many aspects of your life that are heavily affected by your name. When i checked out their website it seemed all very astrological ( general personality profiles and such). But they had me interested when they claim mathematics was involved in discovering your traits, purpose and weaknesses which are derived from your given names. 

Although the fact that i have this burning desire to be successful and have my life the way i want it to be, could be blinding me completely to the fact that this is all my ego afraid of things that aren't really there. Who knows.
