Coming face to face with pure evil

So a few months ago while tripping at home alone at night, I had this sense of literally coming face to face with the energy of just pure evil, darkness, and this demonic presence. This left me with a residue of fear for a few weeks and I was just so drained energetically and emotionally the next few days. Nothing physical happened, just felt this utter fear and terror within my body. Felt like there was this sucking energy beneath the Earth and in the drains in my house pulling my consciousness in to it, like something was coming to get me and pull me under. I stayed calm and just observed it, kind of curious, but it also felt like I couldn't move at all when I was lying down. It was like I was just being leached/drained and couldn't move and had no desire to move.

 The thought 'dark syth' or some weird shit like that was very clear in my mind. Also, my next door neighbors dog was barking uncontrollably for like 20 mins outside when I was scared shitless, as if something were coming or it was just picking up on my fear. This just mind fucked me even more, is this dog barking cuz something actually is coming to get me? Or is it just picking up on my fear?

Curious if this is just the fear of death in my mind being magnified (I took a lot of LSD this trip with the intention of having an ego death), or if I had somehow come in contact with some really dark, demonic energy/entities that are external to me. Basic question is, was this my mind making this all up in fear or did I actually have some contact with dark entities?

@kev014 I've been in this space before. It can be hard to contextualize and integrate these types of trips. For me, sometimes the theme of a trip and insights are crystal clear - for example being shown the Oneness of opposites. There is just a "getting it". Other times, it's a weird energy dynamic without clarity. Here, I just try to be open. I've found if there was some energetic something, a frequency, being, guide, lesson whatever - it would generally show up again later. Other times it's just a wacky experience that ends up in a glass jar in the cupboard and doesn't really get integrated.

The latter. I have had contact with dark entities and they are very real. But it is all you (God) ultimately. But these dark entities are just manifestations of God, just like Everything. The Godhead is nothing, empty, formless. It's all-good and love.

@kev014 Your “error” were tripping to late at night. On any other given night, you’d have simple referred to this as “tired”, “falling asleep”. The fear factor is the trip showing you that you’re avoiding emotion, evidence by the belief there are dark entities “external to you”. There isn’t. Learn from your sensations. Stop ignoring their guidance. When you’ve embraced the entirety of yourself, there will no longer be a barking dog. Be mindful of your playful nature. Not kidding.

Do you deny the possibility that dark entities exist, being part of the Infinite which contains all possibilities?

I don't know if I want to claim that. But if there is a source of evil it must ultimately be yourself as you are the origin and source of everything.

Yes it is mind's creation for not leting go out. Notice that the fear is a part of self-defensing mechanism.

@tedens This is beyond the mind. You are literally the creator and origin of existence. You can only become aware or conscious of this. You yourself choose to forget and become finite.
