Tier 2 companies

14 posts in this topic

I really need a low-stress life because I have schizoaffective disorder (or maybe I'm an empath or sensitive). I wonder where I can find on this world a Tier 2 company. I worked at a very famous start-up here in Brazil, but I was not able to handle the pressure. It was too much for me and I got depressed easily.

Which are Tier 2 companies on this world? I want to work hard, but balance is primordial for me.

@brugluiz my best example is ecosia.org

Thank you! I just found the idea amazing. But I wonder how they have profit with the search engine.

Sorry for my ignorance but what is actually a Tier 2 company? Whats the difference between ordinary company and that one?

Lol, that would be great. I don't want to work right now because I'm studying at college, but it would be great to work with Leo.

Despite pegging myself on Green, I do have many Yellow values (probably in development).

I think I really need to live in a different country than Brazil (maybe a Green country like Finland) and work at at least a Green company.

@brugluiz there is a lot of deforestation going on in Brazil, so perhaps there are some green companies trying to protect the ancient forests like anti-logging agencies, environmental companies etc...might be worth looking into. I wouldn't trade a tropical climate for cold /dark northern Europe :D

I have to search for these companies. The thing is I really love cold/dark places. I saw some photos of Finland and they're awesome!

Here in Brazil is too much heat. Today it's so warm that I woke up sweating a lot. I literally can't stand it too much. I'd rather drink coffee in a frozen mountain.

Our people have a different level of consciousness, what makes my development a bit stuck. I think Finland or any Scandinavian country may help my development (and I love snow, ice, pine forests, mountains and the cold).

Man @brugluiz I've spent a bunch of time in Brazil and I have to say that there is an amazing authenticity, energy, interconnectedness in your nation, you just don't get that in places like Scandinavia. I guess every place has it's strengths and weaknesses. I learned a lot by spending time in Brazil, about how to be honest and upfront, but also polite and kind. I'm sure you'd learn a lot by spending time in Scandinavia.

That election was really disappointing tho.

vlw!

Why don't you make it your mission to turn a Tier 1 company into a Tier 2 company?

Maybe working at a Green company it's possible. It's important for me to match my values and goals to the company I'll work.

But still people in Brazil have a very different level of consciousness. I understand there are amazing people here, but I want exchange.

Yeah, man, the elections showed a little bit of Brazilian shadows.
