Will "do nothing" meditation help me improve my mindfulness?

3 posts in this topic

I find that mindfulness helps me a lot in my everyday life. Since last year I've seen my life greatly improve with the help of my vipassana practice. I also have ADD, my mind is pretty much always in monkey mode. I've heard from various places that the "do nothing" technique works really well, better than vipassana meditation, when used by people who have ADD. So I figured I'd give the technique a try.

Will "do nothing" meditation help me improve my mindfulness?

Thanks :)

@FredFred I think it will, just like Vipassana. I remember Shinzen Young saying it could be good for an A.D.D. person to start off with. You say you've already made great progress with other techniques though, I don't think it's a must. If you wanna try it, do so.
