Moving from achieving

4 posts in this topic

Hi,

I have been working very hard to achieve. I have started realizing that not only can I not have it all now, but I can't even have it all at all. In light of that the concept of mastery makes good sense. It also puts value in perspective. Accomplishments are much more difficult to achieve and we are too quick to discount them. It also puts well in perspective the advertised effortlessnes and instant gratification. Indeed we are misled and collectively propagate this image further.

There is so much to do but also ... there isn't anything to do at all.  It doesn't really matter and hence of course there is no reason not to have it.  Quite the contrary ... it is difficult to eventually not have it.

@New

We can always choose between happiness, success, or both.

In my experience, complete happiness is more fundamental.

@New The one who tries to catches 2 rabbits ends up with none.

I think the key is to focus on 1 thing at the time. Only when you focus on 1 thing, you can put 100% to it and achieve what you want.

But you can still set two traps for both rabbits.

You can work for both in different times.
