Technical Do-Nothing Question

3 posts in this topic

While doing the do-nothing meditation with the eyes open, are you supposed to keep them focused on one spot or can you let them roam around and look at stuff?

I would stay focus on one thing. I think that if you let them roam around, that would be like doing something, right? IMO

Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?

@Matt23

You do nothing.

You let them do what they want to do, and you watch them, and you watch the thoughts arising.

It's like asking: am I allowed to blink my eyes during do-nothing meditation?

Your main concern in meditation should only be observing the present moment.

Meditation = observation.
