Let go in mindful vs let go in do nothing

7 posts in this topic

So drop mean you make the resisting part of your mind go away
Let go in mindful, you drop your resisting of present moment (which is your intention of the mind resisting things i guess) but you still keep your intention on watching. your mind can direct thought suppress thoughts control it. You only watching
Let go in do nothing, you do the same as mindful but this time you drop all intention including watching, any effort of the mind try to do something about your thoughts. You drop it all.
My question is
1. what am i misunderstanding
2. In my meditation practice i feel like i can do both technique in one. I can drop the intention of effort trying to control thoughts suppress thoughts manipulate thoughts. At the same time i can watching it.This is so weird can someone please explain !!!

Adding to philips question. @phllip103

whats the difference between mindulness, watching, do nothing.

What is let go? How can one let go a feeling, emotion. For example an unjust incedence happens and repeatedly thought about that incidence occurs and a sense of untollerance + anger prevail. How can one let go this?

Trying to be aware can easily impede Do Nothing Meditation.  Do Nothing is a much less neurotic kind of noticing.
