Whether it happened or not? Why can't it have happened and not have happened? Why must you make a decision between the two?

Even quantum mechanics have demonstrated that a happening and it's opposite not happening can both be true.

@Highest It happened, just like you and me - in a dream, which never happened. Me & you, and time, are of the dream. Just like a dream you may have had last night. Did it happen - a dream happened. What is that dream which happened, where is that dream? It didn’t happen. Well I remember stuff in the dream though! No, all the memories, are dream too. Even the damn memories in a dream of a dream within a dream are dream. There’s no dream though, actually. Nor is there actual. I hope in this dream you’re cool with finding dream. 

A helpful way to recall its a dream, is to notice clocks.
