With a lack of stimulation, the brain start to create new ones. WHY?

Only way to be bored is to think there is something better to do than existing.

You stop thinking that when you force long enough to do nothing and seeing it is more fulfilling to just being than anything else.

Well, in some cases extreme boredom is caused by depression. Nothing in life seems interesting. 

Another reason is that our culture has become overstimulated. We're always seeking a quick fix. (There's no need to become a monk, though. Find the middle path instead.) 

Ponder this: the obsessive desire for more stimulation is just a symptom. There are underlying causes for that.

2. Because we have preferences.
3. Boredom is a feeling that arises.

@Gabriel Antonio Like avoiding work/studying/practicing/doing with doing highly stimulating stuff. Why do I avoid it? Becasue they are not as stimulating as the escapism stuff in the first place. is the cure just sitting? or ?

@Shin Yeah it kinda is doing nothing, but it tends to be a long sitting like at least 30 40 mins.

Being bored is just a signal that something is amiss like if you lay down and go to sleep and realize you forgot to turn the light off. 

You stop doing an activity that engages the brain. The brain is still on and says "we have crap to do, why aren't you doing crap, what's wrong with you". You either have to go do crap that engages the brain, or turn off the mind. Some people don't know how to turn off the mind.

Because the 'being' dissolves the limits between the ego and the world, which is very threatening for the ego but on other side opens a portal for the infinite: the source of creativity

What can be done to endure boredom?

Accept it, surrender to it, give your mind to wonder, be mindful about it, you might get creative ideas that will serve you in the future

So much boring shit going on man! So much! But only from your relative point of view. You can actually make the seemingly boring so interesting. I remember my school teacher once saying to me ‘what’s up with u?’ I said it’s boring, I was 10 years old, I said to my teacher, this, this is boring. She said it’s only boring because your boring! At the time I didn’t get it, but I do now. It is what you make of it!
