Kindle E-book Publishing

im following through a course but does anyone have any experience with kindle publishing ? if so what are they key skills/elements to being successful

Haven't done it myself but I'm working on selling physical products. Important thing in any business is determining your niche; who do you serve and specifically how do you serve them? In terms of kindle publishing, doing good keyword research for what's popular/trending on Amazon will be super important. Not sure if there's another software specifically work ebooks but 'Jungle Scout' software shows all the sales data on Amazon.
