Vertigo- Dizziness Sensation During Meditation

3 posts in this topic

Hey all. I've been experiencing sudden vertigo/dizziness/spinning-sensation during my meditation sessions. I don't hyperventilate, the breaths are deep but comfortable. When the spinning happens the breathing might become more shallow and I try to be mindful of it. My heart starts beating fast, at times before that, I hear a loud ringing noise/tone similar to tinnitus noises (I like to compare the noise/ringing to the flashbang sound effect in MW2 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W7PbF1m67i8 ) I theorize that those symptoms might really lead to something like astral projection or similar, but then again I don't know.

Has anyone here had experiences like it? What might this be, and what happened to you personally?

Yes, is normal. You are focused physically and emotionally on the back of your head and legs.

So when you relax and focus on the throat instead of the ears and back of the skull and put the throat into the heart to feel the heartbeats, usually this experience you describe will happen. Go with the dizziness, it's only a sign of atrophied 5th chakra and corpus callosum.

This happens to many, because EGO = 1st chakra directed into the 6th and 7th then the heart cannot be accessed only on a survival level. By not having the heart to communicate on an awareness level and Kundalini is focused on Head, this is the fight or flight mode. So the Head is blocking Kundalini only to give power on the beliefs and will power. So once the 5th is lowered into the 4th, fear, pain, dizziness, etc, is inevitable for a while. But you will survive.

@Hellspeed Interesting, just recently I've gotten more serious about Kundalini/Chakras and was adviced to start working with the heart first, so I did and it happened. I'll keep this up ^_^
