Raw spinach and kale versus cooked

 sounds best to vary between preparations but if I ate them a certain way more often how would that be? 

I know in Leos smoothie he says to go raw, but alot of sources say kale and spinach is healthier cooked.

Steaming is probably a bit better than cooking because you lose less vitamin C. Kale is quite rich in C. Spinach has a lot of oxalic acid that some people are very sensitive to and it may contribute to oxalate stones in kidneys and deposition of uric acid in gout. 

So don't go too crazy on spinach but kale should be fine at any amounts.
