Personal Development At The Age Of 24

So hey everyone my name is anthony, im from Detroit MI, grew up poor and neglected. I grew up and moved out and have been FIXATED on personal development to be my main goal. I look around to my peers who are oblivious of something better in life. I have aspirations of bringing this actualizations to my local area and to the younger crowd. Thanks.

Hi and welcome, good plans here, just don't get confused with knowing the work and doing the work. Also telling everybody what to do without having your ego to grow is close to impossible, I can see that this is exactly what I'm doing now... It is very subtle and hides everywhere. I'd just recommend Leo's videos if I were you.

Welcome to the forum Anthony!! It's amazing that you're becoming focused on personal development as your main goal? What do you want to focus on in your personal development? Can you tell me how you got into personal development and how you discovered it? What you do hope to achieve from personal development? How do you plan to bring personal development and self-actualization to your local area and younger crowd? What successes have you achieved? What struggles did you deal with and overcame?

welcome to the site Anthony, i would like to ask you a question and make a couple statements,   You name you chose to use here could be a good sign, you said you have been fixated on personal development, can you tell me what you mean by that, what does it mean to you.

As for your peers who are oblivious of something better in life, consider yourself fortunate that you can see the difference and send them some good thoughts that may one day help them.

Having an aspiration of (bringing this actualizations to your local area and the younger crowd), is a great aspiraton to have but wont be an easy task, because most young people are not interested in personal growth they have many other things in life that is more important that they want to do.  If you are going to do this you will need a lot of growth yourself before you will be able to help others do the same.  Your growth is very important and understanding the realities of life is important.  When we attempt to help others if we are mindful we want to do it in a way that will actually help them grow, and not create conflicts and confusion for them.  If you are seeking personal growth at the age of 24 you should consider yourself very fortunate.  I think you can find a lot of good stuff here to help you grow, watch Leo's vids, and most important of all, in doing this work, do it with integrity, or it will be of little value.   good luck and welcome to the site
