Ask the other person to talk about themselves.  People love to talk about themselves.  Look genuinely interested too when they're talking to you.  Smile, but not too much or too neurotically.  Make sure your body language is open and not closed.  Don't do anything too neurotically.  Relax.  Everything about you needs to be relaxed, curious, confident, and open.  Don't try to overdo confidence either.  Anything you try to do that comes off as neurotic is gonna f*ck up your vibe with the other person.
