everything is love

So, as we all probably know, the most important thing in our lives is and should always be love and it's a key to everything in your life.

I've got an idea, about buying some kind of poster, "motivational quote", that i'll see everyday, to attract more love in my life (not relationship-wise neccesarily).

I don't want it to be too mellow or feminine, i'm not that kind of dude. some pragmatic, pumping more love in my life affirmative stuff.

Any ideas boys?

If you want to cultivate love there're better ways to do it.

But if you have someone dear to you. Someone like a Ramana Maharshi or a guru. Get a picture of him and place it in your room. That could work if you have such a being in your life that is dear to you.

No i mean you will buy a poster, put on your wall, enjoy for a few days and then you will stop working for you, you'll forget it's even there

I mean the post will produce some feelings to you for 3-4days then you'll just forget about it.

It's always like this. don't you agree?

You put a nice wallpaper on your computer or phone, you think "wow awesome picture" then after a few days you don't even notice its existence

You misunderstood me. When posting something like that on a wall, with a sentence or other thing on a wall, you put that thing into your subconscious mind and it changes your perception. That's why I need it for, not for an "arousal" or "feeling" better.

I got the idea from this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OS1WY5jFSEM and also of course from other sources of self-development information, like Leo videos etc, but this one moved me the most. 

I'm not sure how we, men can and should perceive love. What I'm sure about is a feeling, really, really old feeling from my childhood when even the simplest things in a world were giving me so much pleasure, touching them, looking at them, all of that. I think that's somehow associated with higher consciousness.

@28 cm unbuffed What i mean by "Self-Recognition" is knowing everything as one and the same, with that "one" being God. It is the only ground where I could see how universal love could be a thing. Then again such a recognition does not necessitate love, imo.

You could get a whiteboard and do a daily/weekly quote on the back of your door.  That way every time you leave your room you get some kind of reminder.  Also, a tapestry could be an option

Love is formless, unthinkable & imperceivable, because it is all forms, all thoughts and all perceptions. 

You’re still that kid. Many layers of “man” have been “added”. 

@Shin  .....is perfectly on point for you, imo. Awareness only thinks it became a child, and a child only thinks it became a man. When masculine accepts it’s inherent femininity, experience (self) is more, not less. In discovering you are masculine and feminine, you uncondition your Self of either & both.  While you are one, “love” persists as a thought, a thing, for the “other”.  Unconditional Love knows Truth, because Truth is unconditional Love. 

If you had to choose - would it be Truth, or Love?  See that they can not be separated. Unconditional Love has no inclination, no desire for, no need or concern - for Truth. Truth has no inclination, no need, no desire for - Unconditional Love. No one truly loves to lie; anyone truly lies, for love.

@28 cm unbuffed Getting in touch with your emotions is really the point.  Do that, and by default, you discover the ‘masculine & feminine’. Especially the ones that don’t feel good. It’s very important to ‘listen to those messages’, they’re always saying the exact same thing...

You: thinks negatively about someone, yourself, or a situation.

The message of the ‘not good feeling’: “You’re separating! That is You too!”

The message does not change. The thinking, and therefore perspective must change to align with the feelings. 

Do that, and you have no need to ‘work on becoming a better person’. Trust the infinite intelligence that you are, that feelings are. “Everything is Love” callback....the heart is never wrong, because it does not think. Follow it endearingly.

Do that, and there is no need to ‘become better with woman’. They’re subconsciously attracted to you being in touch with your emotions. You only think you’re ‘not good with woman’, because you’ve been ignoring your emotions, which feels like ‘self doubt’. The emotions & self are one and the same. Do not continue doubting, just listen, be the student to your body and emotion. 

Do that, and you have ‘figured out’ yourself. Then, you will see you have also ‘figured out’ everyone else. Want to know what a woman truly truly wants - just start listening to your emotions - listen to what you truly truly want. Woman are not as different from you as you think. 

 

Also...

Stop measuring yourself so to speak. Let go of the need to impress anyone. It actually comes accross as insecurity. Be willing to be vulnerable instead.
