Simple Mathematical Proof that I am Awareness

@Dodo thanks for sharing! I love Rupert Spira.

There were some key differences between what he said and what you said, and he didn't bother putting it in an equation for the reasons I said above. First of all, he provided the nondual context in his words, and he recognizes that what you are IS awareness. The idea of there being an x or "nothing" relating to mathematical zero is already out of the question. Second, and this is what I liked, he went further to say that awareness/consciousness is neither limited nor unlimited, because the act of looking itself creates more! Ta-da! Strange loop. He also conceded that this is something way outside the bounds of concept, logic, or science to grasp.

Yes, I am not Rupert Spira, I am communicating something INSPIRED by him, not exactly the same per se. I would be surprised if Rupert Spira used maths to communicate his ideas. It is not his spiel. Truth shines differently through different light bulbs.

I see the 0 allergy again. 0 is merely a symbol meant as a pointer. Mathematical 0 is nothing but a pointer. It is not the nothingness itself. The nothingness itself doesn't exist by default - that's what it points to - non existence.

Take away awareness from Me and you get non-existence. That this is impossible is due to the fact that I am the awareness, so you CANNOT take away what I am from what I am. For me this equation is helpful aid in self inquiry.  As a vehicle.

I did not make any projections and did not include any pre-assumptions in this equation. It is just a translation of the sentence - If I am not aware, I do not exist - which is a fact.

The way I see it, everything is subjective. "Facts" don't really exist without some assumptions. Because facts are a construction within human language. Is the Law of Identity a fact? Is is objective to say 1=1? Or is that subjective again?

We're using language and ultimately it all breaks down, and like you said it's a pointer. Writing pointers is good and all, everyone does it all the time. I mean at the end of the day we can all run their mouth for the fun of it since all these words are just noise within reality (so we can say literally anything it doesn't matter) , but the true self isn't a concept.

Hark ye yet again — the little lower layer. All visible objects, man, are but as pasteboard masks. But in each event — in the living act, the undoubted deed — there, some unknown but still reasoning thing puts forth the mouldings of its features from behind the unreasoning mask. If man will strike, strike through the mask! How can the prisoner reach outside except by thrusting through the wall? To me, the white whale is that wall, shoved near to me. Sometimes I think there's naught beyond. But 'tis enough.

I don't know what I am. Body, Soul, Thought, Ego, I don't know! Let's say therefore that I am X.

X - Awareness = Nothing (If I am not aware, I do not exist)

Therefore

X = Nothing + Awareness

X = Awareness

Therefore I am Awareness (proven mathematically).

Tadaa!

from the very beginning you define the X as an empty set thats why you can perform kindergarten mathematics

you also assume in your mental logic is a two way directional operation, that's not how you prove things.

A -> B is not A <-> B thus B -> A is never always true

plus you assume you are operating on numerical sets. you cannot construct such logics as + - and transfer variables freely on sides equation symbol

but we all know what you're trying to do here. you have none to do with math on this level. so stop acting like a genius.
