What is this dream?

Well technically it's not a dream, but several nights ago I was really sleepy, and while I was entering sleep, I was entering a tunnel of squares spiralling into darkness, and then i saw this burst of white light that had the shape of the galaxy/ cosmos. it was like the cosmos occuring inside my eye...then I went out of consciousness (sleep). WHAT WAS THIS EXPERIENCE?!

When contextualizing direct experience, I usually don't give a lot of weight to visual hallucinations. The most profound insights for me are nonvisual. Yet imagery can be integrated with insights. For example, insights may arise with direct experience of synchronicity and then the image you posted may arise. I would be much more comfortable integrating those two together. I'd be less comfortable if a stand-alone image arose and making up a story about what means. Yet others do it all the time. For me, it often leads to stuff that doesn't hold up and turns out to be a distraction.

@clouffy I had a dream the other night that was extremely vivid and psychedelic. I couldn't even begin to describe what it was like; words simply couldn't do it justice. Ultimately, other people can't tell you what your dream means, because it was your own dream based on your own body of experiences, and what you wanted to experience at that time. There's no "objective" meaning to be found... also, not every dream is meant to tell you something deep or profound about your inner psyche. Maybe you just experienced crazy fractals just for fun! You don't know... I'm not saying to completely discount the experience, but rather to not put too much weight or thought on it. This stuff isn't exactly rare or earth shattering.

It’s a ‘message’ being rejected. A deep insight of you, creator, revealing you, creation, in the light ‘of the world’.    A potential revelation of the simplicity & perplexity of the resolve of the duality of light. (Identity)  

It’s hard to receive the message because you disqualified the ‘truth’ as an a priori presumption, “technically it’s not a dream”, right out of the gate. Like “I’m not trying to be rude but...” and you already know something rude is coming. 

So counter intuit it, to make it whole, by contemplating... “Technically it is a dream”.
