Question for Leo

22 posts in this topic

Hey Leo. So the question is, what is something that you think you do not understand, is there a concept about self actualization that you don't grasp yet? A missing piece of the puzzle? In other words, if you had any spiritual master that you personally consider more advanced than yourself, what concept would you require help with and what would you want him to make clearer in your mind?

I have lists of hundreds of things things I don't understand.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

What’s a “thing”?

A thing = Everything.

no there is no thing, as a thing is just a concept. if a thing = everything,  nothing can’t be everything but everything is already nothing therefore the solution of this would be  a thing = nothing

A thing = Everything = Nothing.

yes but the same as writing that down with numbers. these are only lines if you don’t look beyond the lines.

a phrase is a phrase is a phrase.

Of course, and the more we talk about it, the further we get from it.

It is.

Or even better, is.

Or even better,

@Truth Addict in this thread it would mean the more we talk about the not understanding the further away we get from not understanding.

or do you mean the further away we get from understanding?

Language is a dangerous thing, beware not to fall into its traps.

Understanding vs not-understanding is a concept, we're looking for actuality.

It's as simple as this picture shows:

Sky_Horse+cloud.jpg

The mistake we unconsciously do, is that we automatically think of it as a horse (concept), when in fact it's just a picture of a cloud displayed on a digital screen (actuality).

Things are what they are.

Language creates veils that block us from seeing things as they are. The more we use, the further from actuality we get.

@Truth Addict it seems someone is a good shopper, a photo  shopper  well most of us are in a sense if you forget the tool behind it.

so a cloud is still a dragon. and actuality might be a cloud. but at the same time a cloud is just a cloud and that’s what’s actuality as long as the phrase is just a phrase. that’s why we actualize in the first place.

Appearance is itself, thought makes it appear not.

in my experience thought makes the difference. if it was only appearance then why would you make a difference?

I don't think I understand your question.

If you mean why is there illusion? Then my answer is I don't know.

(thought in itself is also an appearance).

but things don’t just appear, because they are not things, they also don’t just disappear, because they are things, they are also not just an illusion. there is a cause for everything - and this cause can only be the will to make a difference.

but then the difference has to be made, too. but what for if not for those who make a difference. and you might ask who makes a difference?

These are thoughts just to escape the fact that we don't really know. And there's too much thinking.

Why not accept the fact that we don't know and move on?

Without a thought, there is no difference.

It is what it is.

@Truth Addict yes but i know about things... so i also know some things. things like that real change doesn’t just appear. it must be made, while difference  happens naturally even though it’s made, too.

you are right even differences just are. moving on has never been away from light, it has always been towards.

Change assumes time and different states, therefore illusion.

As I said earlier, let go of thinking. Thinking only leads to more thinking.

Perhaps "moving on" was not the best description, but rather, being in the present moment.

We can't know what is (knowledge here means acquiring a new thought, and we already know that thought is not the real thing), but we can be it, because we are it.

@Truth Addict the equation? xD

i mean the thing we don’t understand.

We want the answer to be in thought form, but it isn't.
