I would ask “who is it that desires attention and a response?”

And God in them

@Aakash one would have to understand  the full ramifications of what it means to be aware. Perhaps that could lead to an enlightenment experience.

@TheAvatarState so you are implying, that its okay to fragment it into facets, rather than one thing

see i feel that the facets are by human standards

love because we have defined what it is to love ,

happiness because we defined happiness

i think i have discovered that bringing about the qualities of love and happiness on spantaneousness without any conditions is utterly difficult. to genuinely be these things.

thats fair enough, but am i still not awareness itself, if i have not discovered the full ramifications and explored?

How did I imply that?

Everything you've ever seen in your life is pure awareness/consciousness itself. I'm saying that a possible path to enlightenment is to self-inquiry into the nature of awareness, like Rupert Spira says. Almost no one talks about the full ramifications of the fact of you having this experience of awareness. It defies logic. It's mystical. It's a self-referential mindfuck. Dive into that, and great things await.

definately. i'm contemplating right now what an enlightened master is, i think its a person that has realised and then has dived deeply as you've said

thats able to bring on spantenously the emotion of love and happiness, have you had experiences of being able to do this?

someone who has studied all the pitfalls and traps.

yes.

it's not about knowing something new but knowing that you already know, or dissolving what thinks it doesn't know

That's something different. Emotional mastery is a practice, love is something you create. As far as I know, this is separate from enlightenment, but enlightenment certainly doesn't hurt!

I would say that's a pretty good pointer.  But there's a danger that it can be misinterpreted too.
