Think it is more like it has kernels of truth. It is a model and no model will ever be entirely accurate. Some will be more accurate than others. Astrology when taken seriously considering all factors is just trying to recognize patterns. Synchronicity. But any reading based on astrology is just a most probable best guess than a hard defined 'you are this' deal.

Like people who say they don't believe in God. I don't believe in the God that they say they don't believe in. Likewise with Astrology. If it's viewed as it is in the funny papers, I don't believe in it. 

When it's viewed as backdrop of influential energies which mix and have self similarities over different scales. Then I begin to believe in it.
