@LastThursday "An ocean in a salty tear", I really like how warped it is. I try to imagine it, but it doesn't work.

+ I enjoy that you posted some poems ^_^, great!

a finger span

a tap, then gone

no thought is mine

nor will it shine

forever

but deep engraved

the trace of brave

and liberating feeling

above the head no ceiling

together

a wish, a wink, a trick

a moment

the clock says tick

the lock says click

a feather sticked.

It feels a bit like a maze. I like how you started the rhyming just a bit after the beginning and quit rhyming a somewhat before the end again. I'm gonna try to incorporate something like that.

Vision.

  • Im pushing through my fears, as I shed blood and some tears,
  • rushing towards a light in front of me, with salt all over me.
  • I know only for certain that the light will come closer,
  • this belief is the source of my endless vigor.
  •
  • The light morphs on in every moment
  • to always stare back at me perfectly
  •
  • But my uncertainty is catching up to me;
  • I cannot catch up to that whom never shows reality!
  •
  • I freeze the chase
  • I look at this place,
  • the pain diminished
  • and tears streames down my face
  •
  • Never before have I got what it showed;
  • The light kept brightening up the road!
  •
  • In the same direction now I walk very slowly,
  • As I stopped running, the light came back to me.
  • Im finally free, to enjoy the beauty all around me.

  • I love you
  •
  • Now I know, I know,
  • as my deep ignorance is melting away.
  • I know you, I see you, I feel you,
  • and I know of all you have gone through.
  • I understand that the world is heavy,
  • and why you can’t break free.
  • I will give you me, to bloom your roots, to white the grey and complete my heart.
  • I am you, I love you, I love you, I love you.

  • Strongest Journey
  •
  • All you need is a dream and some time,
  • and any mountain becomes an effortless climb
  •
  • As you’ll never know whats ahead of you,
  • you know a summit is waiting for you
  •
  • With billion steps taken without regrets,
  • sometimes dirty wounded and mean,
  • the strongest journey abhors the largest dreams;
  • the future is already foreseen.

in the first one, the both first lines are somewhat „dirty“ rhymes but it’s still simple rhymed couplets.

i like short sentences, with very traditional rhymed couplets or alternate rhymes - but i also like to have some rhythmical brakes, like in the second one.

thanks for offering a space for this! it’s fun. i like your transparency poem it is light and mystic.

there is time, time so vast

it can’t be squeezed in an hourglass

there are things, things so many

but some are worth not a penny

there are eyes, eyes everywhere

that we stopped to wonder and stopped to care

there are skills, skills so hidden

almost seems like they where forbidden

there is thought, thought so much

that we don’t even know what it means to touch

and we go with the time and arrange

but secretly hope for a change

Form dances. (read wind at the very end as wind as in winding, like winding something up)

All wind blows,

All things change.

With mindfull sight

I see it all arrange.

The world dances,

As the forms exchange.

In the pattern of beauty

They rearrange.

Time and time that all goes,

By then fear & suffering & hate

Away it all blows.

In that tranvescent wind,

Blowing on this infinite sea,

I  sail.

On such Orchestra of nature

I try to avail.

Trying to grasp

So, to become a noble vessel.

So to one day succumb to the final

Blow of natures wind

And leave all of this

In kind.

How do I heal,

and Break this seal,

Of suffering and dread?

How do I grow?

Where do I go?

I do not know,

sometimes I’m just lost in confusion instead.

I want to meet a girl,

I know the world.

I’ve had ideas of what to do,

but much to show to you.

But I’ve got some,

Some stories to tell,

Some achievments to presents,

Some things I’ve made and done.

The one problem left only

is I feel so lonely.

For I want a girl

to be part of my world.

I will get to work,

it’s just, I feel like a bit of a quirk.

I’ll find a way,

despite that,

a few times to come I will still walk astray.

But for the problem at hand in my heart right now

Inside myself I will bow.

In order to reflect

And find a solution

So that I will, in some months to come,

come to a better conclusion.

The potential for a heroes journey has come

  • My soul,
  • It is afraid yet courageous
  • Where i am now is advantageous.
  • A piece of the way things was grasped
  •
  • My suffering is not just the pain in my past.
  •
  • In it lessons are held
  • By which the seeking side in me was compelled.
  •
  • I’ve been seeking for spring
  • Perhaps now it will come,
  •
  • growing out of the seeds planted
  • by all that I’ve done.
  •
  • Hopefully soon to become
  • or perhaps hard times will come.
  •
  • Still, then my hopes will not be undone
  •
  • I feel the heroes calling
  • There has been enough time of stalling
  •
  • My time has come,
  • I feel a genuine soundless song
  •
  • Singing in my chest
  • this time i see, i must leave behind the rest.
  • I am prepared to face the coming test
  • and let the universe do what it does best.
