If you accumulated/inherited about £10,000 what opportunity would you take to use it for personal growth?

That's a perfect amount for becoming an Isha Hatha Yoga teacher :D

I don't know how much this equals in your country, but in mine, I could completely cut off work, and 3£ a day would be more than enough for me. This means nearly 9 years of practice.

I'd find a good therapist and do an extended retreat somewhere.

Put it in the bank and teach myself to spend less on luxuries even if I can afford to do so.

Living in a poor household and the struggles associated to it were major influences to my growth. I need to solve this financial issue myself to learn what it takes to be successful. This is in order to learn more perspectives. Also living poor its easy to want to splurge on all the things you never had as some compensation. I've been taking control of this. Maybe when I solve the game of surviving in modern society I can then use the money to fuel transcending that.

this.

Although I don't anyway though if I'm perfectly honest.

I've given lots of it away already to people that would benefit from it so I think I'm just going to leave it alone as of now.

@Charlotte I really liked how you phrased the question as some hypothetical.

"What would you do if X" Instead of

"What should I do if X"

I wonder if I would have responded differently if it was phrased like the latter.

@Shadowraix I wanted to read people's own intentions as if it was their own money you see.

Would you of responded differently?

I would invest this money into my own growth.

Leave a low-consciousness job. Work on developing new practical skills. Invest in Life Purpose. Get courses and books that I need.

Maybe buy a small thing or two, but overall, keeping the same minimalistic lifestyle.

That's a good one. I didn't even think of that. I'd like to be doing something good for humanity

I said this to a friend and his response was... awakening oneself is the best thing one could do for humanity.

“What would you like to do if money were no object?” - Alan Watts

I would continue to do what I enjoy. Growing, learning, creating/expressing, loving and working

I do not need power, control or certainty

life being opportunity, relationship and understanding

"let it happen"

You could live like a king somewhere or you could spend it in a week somewhere else. All depends :)

I would spend a summer living with a tribe in the Peruvian mountains. Within a Turquoise community. Nothing beats immersion and direct experience.

Actually, think about it. A pen is like a magic wand. "The pen is mighter than the sword." Information is more powerful than money.

It could get you beyond the money. Remember, I used the Harry Potter example. The author of Harry Potter was a poor single mom. Now look at her. The only thing with Leo and actualized.org is, it's trying to get you to have the deepest awakening and apply this wisdom in this life in your own way. That will trigger peace in this world if you do this properly.? Then,  you become enlightened. It's so easy nowadays. We could do a life purpose with our smartphones right at our fingertips.

This.

But ultimately the money will run out,

So unless the op can find a meaningful job during that timeframe, she will have to work at a low consciousness job,

One way or another, until some qualifications has been obtained.

Definitely take a sabatical from my current job at least for 6-12 months and focus 100% on my life purpose...the 9-5 is getting in the way big time.
