How do I know if anyone else is conscious?

See it like this.

1) You squeeze a rubber ball and release it. The ball reverts back to it's original shape by it's own reflex. Do you associate an individual Consciousness in that ball for this reaction?

2) You press a button on computer and certain program runs. Do you associate an individual Consciousness in the computer?

3) You kick a man in his nuts and he screams in pain as a reaction. What's your logic of associating an individual Consciousness to that man?

Btw your statement reminds me of Ouspensky and Gurdjieff's teachings on how humans are machines that don't know that they are machines

I understand that I am everyone else, and the level of connectedness I feel with the world is so great that it seems like the world changes around me to fit my tastes in seemingly impossible ways. Synchronicities through the roof. It's to the point where it feels like it's LITERALLY only me and I'm in some type of simulation.

Does any of this make sense? I've had a few awakening experiences but I still don't quite understand this yet. Maybe I'm already there, it's just that my ego can't wrap its head around it...

When you realize that self/other is a duality, and it collapses, then what remains is unity. So yes, you are all alone at that point. You are the only being in the entire universe. Being God can be lonely Hence you invent "others".

Ego cannot wrap its head around this. Ego must go -- then things will become clear.
