Is it OK to use this journal as a record of what I have to do and whether I have done it?

Day 1 15 Jan 2019

My aims for today are to:

1. Go for a long walk with my dog

2. Do 20 minutes meditation

3. Get up to date on my tech news writing job

4. Do news for today

5. Mark writing tests this evening

I will do 1 thing that will benefit my future plans:

1. Contact a translator and get costs on translation of academic English articles.

Let's see if I can do everything!

I did everything except '5' but that's a lot of work I missed. So, I have got to estimate how much work I can do more accurately.

I've done well today but one thing I have realised today: I've been happy all day because I am occupied on regular work, NOT project work that could impact the future. When I have to turn to my own project work that's when the nerves and reticence kicks in.
