@EvilAngel jesus was enlightened and when you become enlightened it is usually after some degree of suffering but also you must not be grounded in a particular paradigm or belief.  You must be as ego free as possible.

 

So yes its possible.  Whether this guy was just spouting crap is also possible.  If he was truly enlightened you would be able to tell after spending some time with him.

I was on the edge of that territory a few years ago. Combination of reading about Christ Consciousness, while in symptoms of Kundalini Awakening. Also at the time I was getting reaquainted with Cannibis after 12-15 years of not smoking. There were other synchonicities like aspects of my numerology,,,,, feeding my imagination as well.
