This journal is meant to serve as an insight log when it comes to fitness/improving your health. I am by no means an expert in this topic, but i do a lot of exercise, so i thought i would share my day to day workouts and what i've been learning. If you follow these tips or would like to contribute, please do so B|

Alright @zambize , here is what i did today:

1.) Woke up at 6:40 AM

2.) Ran 4 miles with a few runners (I am a coach and they are training with me for the off season before track starts in February.)

3.) Did 10 minutes worth of core work (Obliques, leg lifts, mountain climbers, and then the AB roller.)

4.) Took a shower, made breakfast and tea, took some L-Theanine

5.) Kicked my feet up and opened up One Note to take notes on Leo's new cult videos - accumulated some good insights while talking to @kieranperez about it.

6.) At 12pm, i went to the gym, did 15 minutes of elliptical to start, then hit shoulders, chest, some hamstrings, followed by another set of core work (10 more minutes.)

7.) About to do 1.5 hours of reading/taking notes on Tribes by Seth Godin and Loving What Is by Byron Katie ( @How to be wise , happy? ^_^)

Tomorrow: 45 minutes of easy jogging in the rain + 25 minutes in the sauna

I'm so sorry that I'm in Florida and can't join in too much until the 15th, I'll try to make some healthy choices on vacation and document them in our little group journal we got (which I'm actually really excited about).  When I get home, it's full steam though, this is going to be a kickass journal

@Sahil Pandit The Work is far more effective than Kriya Yoga and psychedelics. Good luck!

"Not believing your own thoughts, you’re free from the primal desire: the thought that reality should be different than it is. You realise the wordless, the unthinkable. You understand that any mystery is only what you yourself have created. In fact, there’s no mystery. Everything is as clear as day. It’s simple, because there really isn’t anything. There’s only the story appearing now. And not even that.” — Byron Katie

Be mindful of making pre-judgements without study and experience. Each of those tools can be effective or ineffective depending on the person. An egoic mindset likes to think that what is good for me is best for everyone.

@Serotoninluv you’re right.

The time is off in the picture, i actually ran this at 7 in the morning with some other runners.

Hit 10 minutes of core right afterwards.

Taking some time to rest, and going to head to the gym within an hour or two to do some more core/sauna work B|

The pace for today's run was a bit slow.. but the reason for that is because today (Monday) is our easy run days, in which we jiggle jog at a slow pace and place more emphasis on how long we run for. Right now, anywhere between 45 minutes to 60 minutes is how long we run for on Monday's.

Still on vacation but kayaking and snorkeling offered some good exercise and I tried to be reasonable with how much free food I ate.  Stayed away from too many chippies and will stay away from alcohol for the rest of the night, need to do a better job at staying hydrated.

Well this was really easy cause my whiteass got burnt a bit through sunscreen  and basically took out all my energy so I slept from my 7pm 12pm, thus I did not have any food/alcohol tonight, overall great day

Went swimming and tried to do so in a somewhat healthy way, did some front stroke, did the flippy thing to turn so I could pretend like I'm a good swimmer.  Stayed away from soda/alcohol, drank water when given the option over those two, went for walks throughout the day and tried to stay as active as a man on vacation can be.  Did stay more hydrated, so there's that.  Would like to watch how much I eat and stay away from chippies these next few days as we RV back from from the 10th-13th.  That will be a PRIME opportunity to crack out 5 hours + formal meditation practice a day, might want to try some new techniques and get into Kriya with my boy @Sahil Pandit  How did your day turn out?

I took day as a rest day, can't remember the last time i did this honestly.

@outlandish reminded me to make sure i get enough rest, which i took into consideration today. Super glad i did!
Lazy day for me today, in straight recovery mode right now. Got a cold n been blowing my nose for most of the day :$

Live to fight another day...

Lol i wish i could say the same still. I forgot to tell you but i recently broke it. It was nothing special tho. I was just doing about 10 mins on average daily of preliminary techniques. From that book on leos book list i never made it past om japa into the chakras. I recently tho picked up the other books leo recommend and i can say im excited to start a new streak. Lets see how it goes.
