Frustrated at work, my job is too difficult for me

5 posts in this topic

I work with a cnc machine, creating metal pieces and I've to program them.

Today I had a very complex piece, I can do it in my own way, just like they told me in the school, but the supervisor told me to do it in another way faster but really messy and confusing. i started programming but get confused quickly, my mind gets saturated and cannot think clearly, my frustration became nager, sadness, impotence and was about to cry. I told the supervisor to help me how to do it, and when I saw how he did it I thought I'll never will learn to do that, its too much for my brain, im gonna become crazy.

I had a really bad time im my job an lot of negative emotions. What can I do? I hate the job when they expect I will smarten up and dont help me at all.

I understand how you feel, I had the same experience as a student in computer science. Ultimately I decided to change my feild of study, I'm not sure if there would have been a lot of other solutions unfortunately.

Is you job making you fulfilled in any other ways?

Zero fulmfillment but my friend introdued me to his boss and he hired me, so he made me a favour. If I leave, my friend will be upset after all.

I was gonna write something else, but I'm pretty sure you already know what you should do. ^_^

Take some time alone to think about it. Picture yourself 10 years from now, where would you want to be? What career would make you the most happy? Don't worry about your friend. If you take the time to explain to him the motive behind your action, I'm sure he'll agree with you.

Don't forget to write on the forums if you encounter any difficulties in the process, we're here for you. :)
