Om Swami on creating wealth

There’s a profound quote that I think goes well with @Leo Gura‘s video on Escaping Wage Slavery... “your current level of income is directly proportionally to the amount of social debt you have to society.”

You can't say the same about patent trolls and copyright trolls. Patent trolls can grow ridiculously big because they don't produce anything. When you don't produce anything but have a lot of patents, you can attack a lot of corporations. Patent trolls cannot be attacked because they don't produce anything.

Patent trolls focus all their efforts on rent seeking through patent lawsuits. They are professional takers.

You should really say you can either create or take wealth.

@CreamCat Never knew about that, how disgusting. Trying to stifle a sincere, ambitious company because you own a piece of paper which you aren't going to do anything with. Life's too short for that bullshit

Too many people make a living off of the hard work of others.

On another note - I love that quote. You are paid your value. So if you are wealthy that proves you are creating and providing for other people.

Welcome to survival and society being a pyramid scheme. Never going to change.
